4-10-26   THOUGHTS

We read some amazing words this morning.  It’s about death to life as a gift of GRACE from our God.  It is IN JESUS!  While it is not by our works that we are saved, we were created by God to walk in good works. It’s a part of our being  His workmanship in Christ Jesus!                

Eph 2:4-10      But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,  5  even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),  6  and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7  so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.  8  For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;  9  not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

Our Prayer:
O God, our souls are eternally blessed by You in Jesus.  You gave us hope when we had none.  You gave us life, when we were dead spiritually.  You have wonderfully saved us in Christ Jesus.   We thank You and praise Your glorious name.  May we walk according to Your design for our lives, as pleasing children.  Help us to extend Your love to all in our sphere of influence.
Help us to live with the powerful aliveness You have given us in Christ.  In our Savior’s name,   Amen.
